THE STORY

From silence
to action.

The Stop Sextortion work focused on raising awareness about sextortion as a form of sexual exploitation and abuse of power, while encouraging safer reporting, stronger protection and greater accountability.

The final report describes work with students, teachers, parents, communities, schools and civil society. It records awareness campaigns, school-level action, community engagement, sports-based outreach and advocacy for stronger prevention and response systems.

The project also identified important remaining barriers: fear of retaliation, stigma, cultural silence, limited resources and slow policy change.
